“You’re looking tired. Don’t let go of yourself.”

“You’re looking tired. Don’t let go of yourself.”

Hearing these words recently transported me back to my lowest points during the pandemic, reminding me how far I’ve come since then and that there’s always a possibility of reverting to old habits if I’m not vigilant and proactive.

A Few Years Ago...

I was neglecting my health.

Overworking myself to exhaustion.

My skin was suffering due to relentless stress.

I was frequently and easily sick.

I was always tired with little to no energy.

Stretching myself too thin without sustainable systems in my personal life and career.

Stuck in unhealthy relationships with others and myself.

Experiencing burnout and feeling isolated.

I realized my life won’t change if I don’t change. No one ever said — “I stayed where I am thats why my dreams came true”

More recently, after feeling like I was falling through the cracks, I:

Asked Myself Tough Questions like “do you want to stay in the same place by the end of the year?”

Made Tough Decisions: Even if it means it’s uncomfortable

Took Action: I didn’t just plan; I executed my plans.

Asked for Help whenever I need it: I sought professional help to guide my process instead of figuring it all out myself.

Protected My Energy: I set boundaries to advocate for what I deserve.

Prioritized Self-Care: I made self-care a non-negotiable part of my routine.

Built a Supportive Network: I surrounded myself with people who uplift and encourage my growth.

Listened to my own voice: I’m not letting the noise of others’ opinion drown my own inner voice.

I shifted from feeling powerless to realizing I had the power to change my life—every time I needed to.

Transformation is never-ending; we get better and stronger with each step. I’ve learned to believe in myself and quiet those doubtful voices in my head.

Remember: Only YOU hold the power for real change in your life.
